Opportunities for Leadership and Development (BOLD) internship program is now
accepting applications for 2025. This initiative offers rising undergraduates
the chance to explore non-technical roles at Google and gain invaluable
industry experience. The BOLD program is designed to expose students from
diverse backgrounds to the technology industry and prepare them for future
leadership roles.
The BOLD
internship program is a 10- to 12-week summer internship that provides hands-on
experience in non-technical roles such as sales, marketing, and operations. As
a BOLD intern, you will be able to work on impactful projects, network with
peers and professionals, and develop valuable skills and industry knowledge.
The program is open to students from all academic backgrounds, and Google
encourages applicants from under-represented groups to apply.
Google says they welcome applications from candidates from all backgrounds, regardless of race,
ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability
status, or any other dimension of diversity, who are currently enrolled in a
full-time bachelor's degree program. However, students must demonstrate academic
excellence, leadership potential, and a passion for the technology industry.
Specifically, applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s
degree program and graduating between December 2025 and June 2026 are eligible
to apply.
The BOLD
internship application will open in September of the year prior to the

to the BOLD Internship Program is general and will be reviewed on a rolling
basis, and selected candidates will be invited to participate in a phone or
video interview. The interview process will assess your technical skills,
problem-solving abilities, passion for the industry. You will then have the
opportunity to state your preferences for specific teams and locations. You can

BOLD interns are
placed on teams across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Program Management. Their
work is core to Google and varies in scope and length, ranging from the
day-to-day work of a full-time Googler to a single long-term project lasting
the duration of the internship.
Outside of core and project work, BOLD interns have the opportunity to take advantage of the learning and development programs Google offers. We encourage interns to invest in themselves and grow their personal and professional skills.
